As the first and largest manufacturer of disposable suction liner bags in Iran, Abadis Medical Co., a knowledge-based company, has always strived to fulfill its social responsibilities alongside its commercial and industrial operations. From the beginning of our operations, the management and shareholders of Abadis have placed great importance on addressing social and cultural challenges. Our activities in this area go far beyond supporting charities such as Mahak, Kahrizak, and the Autism Association of Iran — they also include building schools in underprivileged areas, supporting emerging knowledge-based startups, helping release prisoners, and distributing food supplies in disadvantaged communities.

We believe that social responsibility should not merely be a slogan; it must become a core organizational culture. In line with this, the Board of Directors at Abadis has defined these efforts as key objectives, alongside profitability, and has established clear performance indicators to achieve them.

One of our most notable initiatives has been organizing appreciation campaigns for healthcare workers. During the COVID-19 crisis, for example, we expressed our gratitude to nurses and medical staff through various support programs. These efforts reminded us that every step toward social responsibility brings growth and blessings to the organization. For this reason, we continue to hold annual online ceremonies to honor nurses across the country.

Abadis has also taken steps to protect the environment through projects such as planting thousands of oak trees in the Zagros region. This initiative reflects our deep commitment to preserving nature and safeguarding the future for coming generations.

Abadis Medical Co.’s Environmental Efforts to Save the Zagros Region

Abadis Medical Co., committed to its social responsibilities, launched the “Save the Zagros” campaign in 2023. This initiative was designed to protect and restore the Zagros oak forests, a region that plays a vital role in Iran’s ecosystem and water resources.

As part of this campaign, over 400 oak trees were planted at Abadis customer healthcare centers on the National Tree Planting Day (March 6th). This act not only symbolizes our gratitude for our customers’ trust but also represents a practical step towards reducing environmental damage and revitalizing nature.

Our vision is to plant 4,000 oak trees in the region, aiming to make a meaningful impact in curbing the degradation of the Zagros and combating climate change through ongoing efforts.

Abadis Medical Co.’s Efforts During the COVID-19 Crisis

During the COVID-19 crisis, Abadis Medical Co., in line with its commitment to social responsibility, stood firmly alongside the nation’s healthcare professionals and medical centers. Despite the challenging circumstances, the company not only maintained its medical equipment installation services but also operated around the clock to manufacture essential products — playing a vital role in infection control and the fight against the virus.

In addition to producing disposable suction liner bags, Abadis quickly pivoted to design and produce protective face shields for healthcare workers. Simultaneously, our research and development team began planning the production of innovative medical solutions, several of which will be introduced in the near future.

Other key contributions included donating medical supplies to charities, sending face masks and sanitizers to underprivileged areas, and supporting efforts to protect public health nationwide.

With faith in the cooperation of the Iranian people and divine guidance, Abadis has worked — and continues to work — to help the country overcome this crisis and build a safer future for all.

Nurses’ Day Celebrations

Since 2019, Abadis Medical Co. has proudly established the tradition of celebrating Nurses’ Day as a heartfelt tribute to the invaluable contributions of nurses across Iran. These annual events have been held under diverse themes and programs, offering moments of recognition and gratitude for the remarkable dedication of these healthcare heroes.

In the first celebration, Abadis organized a special prize draw with live participation of nurses, broadcast on Aparat and Instagram. In the following years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the celebrations continued virtually, with themes such as:
“If you saved one life, you are a hero — and if you saved a hundred, you are a nurse.”

In 2022, due to national circumstances, the in-person event was postponed, and instead, a special tribute video was released to honor the nurses. Then in 2023, under the heartfelt theme:
“We missed your smile, we waited for it — and now we celebrate its return,”
the Nurses’ Day celebration returned with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

In 2024, the tradition continued with the meaningful theme:
“Nursing: Saving lives in silence,”
and Abadis once again honored the noble spirit and essential role of nurses.
